   Welcome to the Westfalen Hof! We are happy to invite you for a journey through the fine cuisines of Germany and Europe. We brought with us over the sea several traditional recipes...and a lot of history. Our aim is to serve you the finest German and European cuisine available in Colorado.
    We hope you will enjoy your dinner at the Westfalen Hof. All of our dinners are made fresh and cooked to order...so please relax and allow us time for a quality preparation.

Kohlrouladen (Cabbage Rolls)
A favorite dish throughout Germany and Poland. Cabbage leaves stuffed with a pork, beef and rice mixture rolled up and slowly simmered in the oven. Served with Mashed Potatoes and Tomato Sauce. (History: Cabbage is said to have been a popular staple among the Anglo-Saxons in the 5th Century. But the Romans must have known about it too, because they named it "caput" from which the words Kappus and Kappes were formed. the names are still in use in a number of German provinces and also in Poland.)

From their, it started it's victorius way through Europe and you can find it on almost every menu in one of its several varieties.)

Filetspitzen Stroganoff

(History: Graf Sergij Grigorjewitsch Stroganow came from a very old Russian Familie which influenced in the 16th century the conquest of Siberia).
